I wasn't really prepared to see the flags at half-staff today. Obviously they were going to be, but...yeah.

Fuck terrorism, and fuck you, terrorist(s). This is our Boston. You can't have it.

Just before 6:00 p.m. tonight we passed through Magoun Square on the way home, where I noticed some squad cars routing everyone away from the rather banged-up vehicle wedged between a street lamp and the entrance to Creative Signs. Pretty impressive, really. I'm curious to know just how that occurred.

I was just out for a quick walk around Cambridgeport to perk myself up, and when I got back to my office's block on Mass. Ave. there were three squad cars, a transit police car, a paddywagon, and an ambulance in front of the Au Bon Pain across the street from my building.
